The Knox County Quilt Guild has their needles flying and sewing machine pedals to the floor, completing projects to be included in their Annual Quilt Show. This show will exhibit approximately 200 quilts, both antique and new construction, wall hangings, miscellaneous quilted pieces and clothing, and fabric art, from area quilters and fabric artists.
The quilt show will be held at the YMCA Sports Center, 200 W. Chestnut St., Mount Vernon, Ohio. Show hours are Friday, August 11, 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm; Saturday, August 12, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm; and Sunday, August 13, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The facility is handicapped accessible and equipped with air conditioning so stop by and cool off during the festival.

This year's Raffle Quilt was made by Debra Ramsey and it is beautiful. It is red and blue with a white back ground. House blocks in the center with an appliqué border and then log cabin blocks for the final border. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hospice of Knox County. We will also have a craft table with items made by guild members for purchase and a sale table with items from our stash for sell.
Deadline for submitting an entry is July 30, 2017 - Pick up an entry form today at Paw Patch Quilt Shop, Sharon's Quilt Shop, Paragraphs Bookstore, or download your form here.
